About William
Upon being called to the Bar in 1975, he commenced practice with Messrs Cheang Lee & Ong, Ipoh (now Jeyaratnam & Co.). In 1983 he joined Gibb & Co. He has extensive practice in the areas of Insurance, Family and Conveyancing and Banking. He also oversees the drafting of agreements relating to joint ventures and corporate matters. In 1999 he obtained his license to practice as a Notary Public.
He remained the managing partner of the firm until his retirement in 2008. He now is the Consultant in the firm where he oversees the preparation of pleadings and documentation for non-contentious matters.
He is a Committee member of the Perak Turf Club and sits on several Committees under the Malayan Racing Association (MRA)
His main interest is reading and travel. In 2001, he served with the United Nations in East Timor.
